On Sunday, Conservative Democratic politicians around the country blamed “Russian bots” for their inertia in confronting the Trump administration. “Let’s face it”, said an anonymous Democratic Party leader via phone during a $25,000 a plate fundraising dinner, “ we as a party haven’t mounted a strong opposition.”
For mainstream Democrats, their ineptitude is the work of “Russian bots” that infiltrated the party right after the election of President Trump.

But Progressive Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez disagree. According to the upstart Democrat, Conservative Democrats love to get cozy with Wall Street. “I’ll be the bad guy here”, she said in a video circulated through social media. “Let’s suppose I get cozy with Wall Street. You know what’s gonna happen? I will turn a blind eye on my constituents and become another old-fashioned Democrat: corrupt, and inept like you guys.”
Conservative Democrats in response accuse Ocasio-Cortez of trying to turn the US into ‘another Cuba’ and she is a socialist who hates our way of life. We don’t want free, universal healthcare here. We want to make profit, profit, profits and of course, $25,000 a plate fundraising dinners.”
