The annual Chalk FIT organized by students at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology is on. Ephemeral yet poignant, this public art show engages passer byers in conversation. In the past, Chalk FIT dealt with themes close to home such as immigrant rights. This year’s theme, The Future is…The Human Experience, explores issues of racism, discrimination, gender, sexuality, technology and the future of humanity and the planet.
